Loss of chivalryOkay so I've been having the topic of chivalry quite a bit recently. I've been trying to figure out what is so wrong with people these days! At first I thought it was me. I thought maybe somehow, by some subconscious accident, I was drawing these rude, foul, disgusting, sex-crazed buffoons to me by an unforeseen signal I put out. Guy after guy as I would attempt to befriend them, would skip right to asking for dirty texts or photos. Many even guilted me in to thinking if they didn't get off, it was my fault, and they'd be displeased with me and lose interest. Now, in hindsight, yes I know very very well those guys were not worth me wanting their attention, but I am a people pleaser. It is my personality, not my choice. I don't like people being upset/mad at me, and that often results in being walked on. I have come a LONG way, and no longer put up with ignorance from others, which leads me to tonight. I was getting ready to shut down for the night and wanted to try and get through my last few EP messages. I had about three that were from people I didn't know or talk to, wanting my attention or add. I get to the next piece of mail. In the preview, before I clicked on the subject to open up the message, and it simply read (like all other trolls and creeps that don't want to put any real effort into getting to know me but instead hope I'm a slutty bimbo with no real self worth): subject line- "hi", preview- "please add?? x…" with the dot dot dot insinuating more to be read within. I click on it, ready to write this person (me2uandback) off and move on, when I'm assaulted with a giant picture of an ejaculating penis!!!! I was SO appalled, I went straight to their whiteboard and told IT as much. Then I proceeded to block and report. Chivalry really is...I'll say a very lost art. I choose those words instead of saying its dead because I know many great guys in my circle that are not obscene. It's sad. It's vile. It SHOULD be intolerable. For me, it is, and I have no respect for anyone that acts like that or associates with the likes of them either. Have some common decency, people. I Am "Listening to Christmas Music" lolYou are a sentimental and emotional person during the holidays. It is important to you to celebrate your favorite traditions and relive old memories. You find it easy to get into the holiday spirit. All it usually takes is hearing that first Christmas song on the radio. You're the type of person who listens to holiday music as much as you can. It always makes you smile a little more. This is SO me! The Vapors of My EmotionA single salty tear escapes and slips down my cheek. It sits there by itself; as alone as my soul. I dare not brush it away: it is my only company. This tiny glistening bead of moisture has done me it's favor of releasing a droplet of pain from its locked up cage inside of me. However, just as people suck the life right out of you, my tear evaporated to leave me here alone again with only an itch in it's reflection. The weight still left on my heart is that of an ocean.
